I'm really loving this series. I was never a really sports manga fan until I started to read this series. After this, I've read Prince of Tenis, Slam Dunk, etc.
But this has a nice ground in some sort of realism...and gotta love the group of characters.

People are disillusioned and strangely impatient because you gave us too much good stuff at once to start and the speed's evening out to a normal one [or more] chapter a week release.

Here's a thought: I'm very grateful that you transletd Rookies so far, but assuming we can't be anything but grateful even when you don't deliver is just plain rude. I've been part of scanlation groups and I'm well aware that some of them avoid taking on projects that already have another group working on them. That rule is specially true when talking about 'unknown' mangas, such as this one.
So it comes to this: if you're doing it, thanks a lot. If you're not, you might just as well being the exact opposite of a favor to all of us.
I might be wrong, but I was dying to say this for a long time.
But several other groups WERE doing this manga alongside us. I can't quite recall how much longer than us they lasted.
You can never know how many groups didn't start because you guys were already doing it.
All I'm saying is you should at least give us some honest info about how fast you can scanlate right now. I'm not even saying you should do it faster. Neither am I saying you should do it at all. But if you do, it would only seem logical that you try to ease everybody's anxiousness. You're doing a great job and all, but the blind expectation bothers me more then the actual chapters entertain me.

Well I can tell you that Deadbeats dropped it due to falling behind. We did have releases and wanted to keep doing it, but there was less and less point with LFRG getting that far ahead.
So, hope you guys finish it off and wish you the best of luck. Just get a release or a post out there on your main page to let people know you're still alive once in a while :D

First of all thanks for all the chapters, if it weren't for you guys we wouldn't even get so far in the series. However i would really like an update, i'm not saying i want another chapter, i would be pleased with just an update. It's been months since we've read a release. Tell us your plans and don't leave everybody drifting around anxiously expecting for a release and wondering if you're still going to do this project or not.
the update is, our translator is busy and who knows when that'll end
we're not rude and don't want to scare him off, so we'll let him decide when/if he returns
I appreciate all of your hard work, but atleast tell us if you're going to finish, don't just leave it hanging. A lot of other groups can finish it if you arn't. Rookies has become one of (if not my absolute) favorite mangas. It's fine and dandy if you take your time, I just want to know if you actually are planning to finish it or not...

The manga is amazing, i've only read the first 10 volumes though, but it's very interesting. I found this serie looking for 'rokudenashi blues' blues, and ended up enjoying this baseball serie not done by master Adachi ^_^

Hi LFRG!! Thanks for the 10vol + releases of Rookies! For a while, I thought it would never be scanlated so I put it on my wish list to read. After being away from the manga scene for some time, I returned only to find that Rookies was revived by your hands. For that, I thank you. If you are still active, it would be awesome if you could do to "Diamond no Ace" what you did for Rookies, that would be awesome. I've always enjoyed reading sports manga, but it seems that there are few groups dedicated to scanlating them... probably due to the low popularity with other shoujo mangas. To end this comment, please consider reviving this group and show the same spirit it had in scanlating Rookies (and possible pick up Diamond no Ace). Thanks!
